THE SOLUTION!

Jan 19, 2025 | Vision Foundation Series

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: (4) But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, (5) To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. ~ Galatians 4:4-5 KJV

SUMMARY: In this second message of the Foundation Series, The Solution addresses the deep spiritual problems plaguing the body of Christ and reveals how God’s answer—Jesus Christ—brings healing and freedom. Paul outlines the redemptive work of Christ in Galatians 4, reminding us that God’s perfect timing brought forth Jesus to redeem humanity from the weight of the law and adopt us as His children. This sermon highlights The Problems of Sin as:

  • Self-Reliance
      • Trying to manage life apart from God’s strength instead of fully trusting in Him.
  • Bondage
      • Being trapped by sin and worldly expectations instead of walking in the freedom Christ offers.
  • Identity Crisis
    • Struggling with belonging and purpose when our true identity is found in Christ.
  • Impatience
    • Acting outside of God’s timing, as seen in Abraham’s decision to father Ishmael through Hagar rather than waiting for the promised son, Isaac.

But there is The Solution in Christ, revealed through the redemptive plan of God:

  • Redemption & Adoption
    • Jesus came to redeem us from the law and bring us into God’s family, giving us full rights as sons and daughters.
  • Freedom & Inheritance
    • We are no longer slaves to sin but heirs through Christ, with a spiritual inheritance that begins now and is completed in eternity.
  • Divine Identity
    • The Spirit of Christ in us testifies that we belong to God, giving us assurance, purpose, and peace.
  • Fulfilled Promise
    • Just as God’s promise to Abraham was ultimately fulfilled in Christ, we too can trust that God will complete what He has spoken over our lives.
